KEVIN BRACKEN (wrestling, 2000), Vice President

Kevin Bracken finished sixth in the 63-kilogram weight division at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia in Greco-Roman wrestling.  He grew up on the South Side of Chicago and attended St. Laurence High School.  He won 135 matches at Illinois State University and was voted male athlete of the year in 1994.  Bracken, who competed in three World Championships and was a winner at the 2003 Pan American Games, first tried out for the 1992 Olympic Team while still in college—the youngest competitor in the Olympic trials.  He took fourth place. Bracken served as the alternate at the 1996 Olympic Games before claiming a spot on the 2000 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team.  Bracken transferred his wrestling success and dedication to the workplace with Forest Pharmaceuticals as a sales representative, where he drove his sales up 80 percent in just two years; and then with Zimmer Orthopedics, in one of the top territories in the country.  He specializes in medical device sales and in pharmaceutical management.
