Steve Alley
Left wing Steve Alley played hockey at the 1976 Olympic Games in Innsbruck and at three world championships before becoming a professional with the World Hockey Association’s Birmingham Bulls and Cincinnati Stingers, and later, with the National Hockey League’s Hartford Whalers. He scored the winning goal 23 seconds into overtime in Wisconsin’s 6-5 victory against Michigan in the 1977 NCAA Division I Championships to cap his college career. The BBA and MBA Wisconsin graduate is Founder and President of Alley Company, a Securities Exchange Commission-registered adviser. His investment experience dates to 1983, before he spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley.
